Hi,

I am using Unity 3.0 and E2K servers in our organization. We have two Exchange server in two different locations. They are all assigned with two different location IDs respectively. However, when we are using AD, those users from different locations are all appeared in one GAL. If I want to send message by ID, it is not workable. Is that true since everytime the message will be rebound back to the sender? Pls adv.

Regards,
Bruce Yim

You shouldn't be using blind addressing to message to users already in the directory. Leverage the standing networking capabilities to address to those users directly using name or ID lookups. You can use dialing domains to link users from multiple boxes if the numbering plans are unique etc...

you need to read the NetworkingOverview2001.DOC which you can get off the AnswerMonkey site on the General Tools page. It goes into great detail on how this works.
