How can I block incoming calls that comes from the PSTN. I am using MGCP on my gateways and tried to use the option Oubound calls on the gateways. It did not make the call to get through but the problem is, it did not drop the call on the gateway. It makes my trunk line busy until you shutdown the voice port. By the way I am using FXO on my gateway. Is there any other solution?
I don't know of a way to block the calls per se, but perhaps if you set it to 'plar' to a bogus extension, it might accomplish what you need. With this in place I believe the caller will get a reorder tone, and I think with that disconnect.
