blocking messages for everyone

Is there a way to block everyone from recieving voice messages while our test server is in production? We don't want our test machine taking messages but rather it allow callers to transfer through to an extension only. Would the bulk edit tool help us out here? Thanks

That's kind of an unusual request, but yeah, you can do this with BulkEdit.

Select all subscribers and on the "Greetings" tab, make sure the "after greeting action" is set to something besides the default of "take message". Be sure to do this for all 5 visible greetings (the error greeting is not one you need to worry about).

I suppose the best thing to do would be to route the callers to a call handler that says what's going on since many of the users greetings will say stuff like "please leave me a message". Callers will get a bit confused when they aren't given the opportunity to leave a message after that so you don't want to just hang up on them. An explanatory message in a call handler might be a nice touch.
