Bringing up subscriber information

We're on Unity 3.1(2).<br><br>Recently, something changed on our system where we are unable to bring up subscriber information in the SA. We can search and locate the subscriber, but when we click on the subscriber to bring up their information, a new window launches with "Invalid syntax error" as the header and "Page cannot be displayed" in the body. The address bar has the message "warning: could not find home server."<br><br>Are there any good ideas as to what could be behind this problem?<br><br>---<br>Ethan Cooper<br>Network Administrator<br>LeTourneau University

Re: Bringing up subscriber information

Did you move any subscribers from one Exchange server to another, or change the name or network address of any mail server? Was there a network outage or down server?

If all seems normal on the Exchange side, you might try running the configuration setup with the /sync option (desktop icon for 2nd part setup) to resynchronize the SQL data with your actual directory.

Re: Bringing up subscriber information

Ken here - (Ethan's my colleague :-)

We did change the primary IP of the Exchange server - would that do it? Tried running the setup part 2 with the /sync option - but it always got to the end of the sync and tried to setup the account to run unity as (LETNET\service_unity) and wouldn't accept the password to continue - just kept refreshing the screen - if I entered a bad password it said bad password - so it knew (i think) the one i was typing in was correct - just wouldn't continue...

Canceled out - tried the directory walker - the only thing it complained about was the following (exceprted from logs)
*******************************
*** Starting subscriber walk ***
Alias=ESubscriber
Display Name=Example Subscriber - LEAH
(error) Primary Call Handler is not valid!
This subscriber may be 'stranded' by an improper uninstall of a previous Unity system or
it may be 'sharing' a primary call handler with one or more other subscribers.
If you select the 'Remove subscriber properties on mail users that have no primary call handlers' option and run again this user can be reimported to Unity.
