Re: Bulk edit utility

You need to install it on the local Unity server using the account that installed Unity (i.e. the account associated with all the AVCSxxx services in the SCM). This is the only account I allow to attach using this tool and make bulk changes to the directory like that... just being safe.

Yes, the AV services need to be running. If they are not, the tool will pop a dialog asking you to start Unity first.

Re: Bulk edit utility

Does it support the latest build? 2.4.5 build 73?

Re: Bulk edit utility

We have AVPerfMon disabled as per ActiveVoice. I assume that's why the Bulk Edit utility wouldn't work for us?

Re: Bulk edit utility

no... BulkEdit doesn't care about PerfMon at all... if it's not letting you fire up BulkEdit you're having a permissions issue with the account you're logged in as at the time you run BulkEdit. Either that or there's some other problem I haven't yet run into in the field.

Nothing to do with PerfMon, however...
