c2600 bearer cap issue

Hi all!

On a 2651XM with 2 BRI port, we recognize a strange problem. Direct inward dialing is ok, let's say on phone 2105. If I redirect a phone in the PSTN to 2105 (redirected by provider network), the provider network sends a additional information with the call, so the call will fail with the ISDN debug message "ISDN ERROR unsupported bearer cap".

Does anybody know about that problem?

Thanks, Andy

We need to see what are that additional information which comes with the isdn SETUP message for a forwarded call which is not received in the regualr dialin call.

So pl. enable the "debug isdn q931" and make a call directly from pstn to that 2105 AND also capture the same for a call forwarded to that 2105. Post both the isdn debug here so that we can compare.

Thanks for the reply. Here a quick describtion of th e situation:

First Call to phone "22" from "0794060041" (calling id is not visible because it is anonymous!) is ok. Then I redirect the phone "0794060041" to "22" and call it from another phone, the call fails. Below you can find thew debuging of this behaviour:
