Solved: call drop when calling cellphone and it searches

This is a weird one. When a call is placed only to a cellphone where we get the message (please wait while we locate the subscriber) the phone drops the call intermittently. Normal calls are fine. We are connect to the pstn through a 4000 blade and a PRI. Any information would be great.

You need to adjust the timeout on the gateway for the ISDN t310 timer. Best set it to something way high like 60000. The problem is related to the PRI not receiving an updated call_proceeding message within the timeout period. 60000 should up the timeout to 60 seconds which should be long enough for any network.

the timer is found under the serial interface config on an AS5300 and probably the same on a 26/36 variant like the AGM in a 4000.
