I had a similar issue with softphone yesterday where calls were ringing once. I found that if the "Call Forward on Failure" button is not checked and routed properly, CM will cause this issue to come up. One other thing, if the user does not highlight the line that is to be used in softphone (even if there is only one line to choose from) the softphone will provide unexpected results.
