I have the problem that we want to forward to a Voice Mail System (not Unity) from all users to the same greeting. We need this for days if no one works. So we forward to a Route Point and forward this to the Voice Mail System. But the Voice Box do not use the number of the Route Point. It uses the number of the person which was called. How can I tell the call manager that he tell the VM the Route Point Number as the called number and not the original called number?
This was a problem with CM3.0 to do with the calling party presentation setting on the h.323 gateway, you need to set it to first re-directing party, this way the call goes to the mailbox that matches the route point.
Actually it is better to use a phantom phone with a fake mac address and set the call forward destination to voice mail, rather than using route points.
In cm3.1 and later you can specify the mailbox that the extension uses so you can change it to something that doesn't match the extension number.
