Call Forwarding to PSTN with an ATT&T Pin code

Customer would like to call forward calls to the PSTN, ovbiously no problem. The issue is that AT&T requests a 4 digit PIN Code when accessing th PSTN. Is there a way to do this on CallManager.

Thanks

Re: Call Forwarding to PSTN with an ATT&T Pin code

I cannot think of anyway to meet your customer's requirement with CallManager alone. However, depending on the gateway type and trunk type you may be able to hack something up--a quick thought I had was to use an H.323 gateway and to translate the called number to add ,,1234 (assuming 1234 is the code) at the end.

The success of this would be dependant on the trunk type, though; if the trunk was a PRI, the called number would be sent during call setup and it would I cannot think of a way to have the gateway interject the code in to the actual voice path.

Hope this gives you some ideas to go with ..

What is your topology, How are your calls making it out the PSTN. You can surely use either a translation pattern on the call manager or a translation rule on the gateway.
