Call on Customer's Cisco 7960 gets dropped out after 5 minutes.
This Cisco 7960 has SCCP firmware version 5.3
Currently I dont have access to customer's permises. One information I got is that they have SonicWall firewall.
Do anyone of you have got same problem before? any solutions?
Thanks.

Is this a call to an h.323 gateway? 5 minutes is the timeout for keepalives with an h.323 endpoint with a call up. My guess is that the firewall is breaking this for you.

Hi,
I´m experiencing a similar problem with a 3725 gateway configured as H323 gateway in CCM 3.3,
and a third-party H323 IVR system.
The gateway, IVR and phones are all connected to
a 3550 switch, nothing in betweeen.
How could I disable these keepalives, or
change the timeout?
Should I use the command "no h225 timeout keepalive"?
I´m running a 12.2 version at the gateway wich doesn´t support the command but I would upgrade to 12.3 if needed.
Thanks

Yes, the command is
no h225 timeout keepalive
It's supported on 12.2(15)T12 and above.

So which is better? no h225 timeout keepalive on the 1760 router or change the CCM keepalive from 3000000 to 2 hours?
Thanks Anup!

Thank you all. As my IOS is older I´m going to try
changing the TCP/IP keepalive timer in CCM.
In my CCM it was also set to 300000 milliseconds
and I have restored it to the default of 2 hours.
I will let you know if this helps.
