In a call handler, any time a transfer is specified, a recording that says "Please wait while I transfer your call." is played prior to the call transfer. yes, you can replace that prompt with a silent one if you don't want it to play. Be aware this is not TAC supported and if you upgrade your system later the silent prompt will be written over with the original one and you'll have to do this again...

No there is not at this time. This is a hard coded prompt and we don't support modifying system prompts for several reasons. Not to say it can't be done but if you do your custom prompts will be overwritten after an upgrade.
