Call Handler Question

In a Call Handler, under Caller Input, is it possible to setup a key to send the caller to a PSTN number (1-800-xxx-xxxx for example)?

Not directly. You would need another callhandler or subscriber which transfers out to the desired number. There is no way for unity to collect x number of digits and then transfer to that variable. There are some variables that can be used but those are based on the the calling/called/forwarding station/etc numbers from the original call to Unity. You can read over the Audio Text doc on www.ciscounitytools.com in the Documents section for more info on that.

Yes, you map the key to "attempt transfer for" another call handler that's configured to ring the phone in question (which can be off switch or an internal extension).
