call handler

Hi,<br><br>The call handler that I created has been transferring all the calls to the greeting instead of the phone number I specified. I checked the transfer incoming calls setting and it's fine, what other setting can I check?<br><br>Thanks<br><br><br><br>

Not applicable

by default when you hand a call off to a call handler, it goes to their greeting (i.e. skipping the transfer rule). Make sure you have it set to "attempt transfer" instead of "send to greeting" if you want it to try the active transfer rule on the call handler (which presumably you do).

also, make sure you have the right transfer rule on the call handler active. I always reccomend activating the alterate transfer rule and using that since it always fires when active regardless of schedule.
