Call Handler

I have a callhandler built that says press one to access voicemail or stay on the line and an operator will assist you. How do you increase that timeout? it doesn't give the user a chance to think about what to do and straight away attempts to transfer for operator.

The usual way to do this is to have the prompt replay with a few seconds of silence a few times - you set this up at the bottom of the greetings page - set retires to, say, 1 and the seconds between retries to, say, 3 seconds. This will play the prompt a total of 2 times with a short pause in between to give the user a chance to respond if that's what you're expecting them to do there.

Either that your you can tack a few seconds of silence onto the end of the greeting itself. this can be done via the media master control on the SA.
