Call Manager 3.1 and Active directory

Hi -

We are trying to install CM3.1 and are having an issue with Active directory integration. We have multiple ou's and apparently CM will only see one. Are we just missing something or is this a flaw in CM? Your assistance is appreciated.

Thanks,

Gerri

Re: Call Manager 3.1 and Active directory

Often times complex troubleshooting issues are best addressed in an interactive session with one of our trained technical assistance engineers. While other forum users may be able to help, it’s often difficult to do so for this type of issue.

To utilize the resources at our Technical Assistance Center, please visit http://www.cisco.com/tac and to open a case with one of our TAC engineers, visit http://www.cisco.com/tac/caseopen

If anyone else in the forum has some advice, please reply to this thread.

Thank you for posting.

Re: Call Manager 3.1 and Active directory

If you haven't already, you should check here:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/c_callmg/3_0/install/ad_3011.htm

Also read the release notes for the particular version of CallManager 3.1 you are using, as there have been a number of bugs relating to what you describe.

Also note that whatever you set as the User Base in the plugin configuration, CallManager will search that OU and everything *under* it, but not other OU's above it in the directory tree.
