Call Manager 3.2.1b and Call Transfer Methods

I'm trying to find out what Call Transfer Methods are supported, e.g. FLASHHOOK, DTMF Only, etc...

Since there has been no response to your post, it appears to be either too complex or too rare an issue for other forum members to assist you. If you don't get a suitable response to your post, you may wish to review our resources at the online Technical Assistance Center ( or speak with a TAC engineer. You can open a TAC case online at

Re: Call Manager 3.2.1b and Call Transfer Methods

With an IP phone you can only use dtmf. So you would hit transfer and dial the digits then you can hit transfer or wait for the other party to answer then hit transfer. With fxs ports on like a vg248, vg200, or other IOS gateway you can do a flashhook. I think the 6624 supports this as well just not %100.

Thank you,
