Call Manager 4.0 Privacy Feature

Has anyone experienced this with the privacy setting.

I have privacy enabled on the phone and toggled to on. I'm trying to determine how it is suppose to work. If the private button stays toggled on, should the next call going to the shared line appear in the missed or received calls on the other phone. I have tested this and am getting inconsistencies.

The privacy feature works in conjunction with the barge feature and shared lines.

By enabling privacy, on a per phone basis, incoming calls to the phone(s) with privacy on do not register on any other phones that share the same line. So, no the next call going to the shared line should not appear in the missed or received calls list. It also stops those shared line devices from being able to barge in on the call. Hope this makes sense! :)
