hi all,

Does ccm 3.x perform gatekeeper fonctionalities

(call admission control) or do i need to conf a router to do this?

is it protocol dependent, i mean if i work in MGCP

between ccm and my gateway can ccm perform cac?

is it architecture dependent ? if i have a ccm on my main site ,how can i perform CAC for the remote site

for outbound calls?

Thanks for your time and sorry for these basics question

On call manager you can use location to perform CAC. If you have a GW on remote side you can put that gatway in certain location and assign certain amount of bandwidth. Call manager will then keep track of amound of bandwidth used between main and remote location. If end device makes a call to remote site and bandwidth is not available for this call the call will fail.

Hope that helps..
