Call Manager - Phone register & unregister

How can we be informed if a phone unregisters from call manager? Can we see it in the Real Time Monitoring Tool or snmp ?

The app log contains an unregister event for phones along with reason code

It does if your talking about 4.x CCM or below. On the linux versions there is no app log

Wrong, there is still app log in any linux appliance.

You access it thru RTMT

You can use real time reporting tool. Then under system, syslog viewer, you'll seen an option for application logs.
