I am looking for call manager redundancy where my redundant call managers are located at separate geographic locations and if one of them fails complete call processing shifts to the redundant callmanager. Is it possible only with clustering or there is other ways also for that?
You will have to put them in same cluster. It is supported as long as your RTT between the two locations is < 40ms. For 10000 BHCA (Busy hour call attempts) you would also need to allocate 900 kbps of bandwidth for Intracluster communication signaling traffic. (Between pub and sub).
