We resently got a demo kit which included three phones and voice wics. ALso was included was the software for call manager 3.0(8). I was told that we did not need to actually purchase the media access server and that we should be able to load the Cisco operating system on any server but that we would get no support. Has anyone out there done this. ALso is anyone else running call manger without media access server and if so how and with what.
The CallManager installation disks will only install on Cisco MCS boxes - the re-badged Compaqs. 3.0(8) was the first version that was also available for Compaq and IBM branded servers - but your disk set may not have the correct files for these.
