Call Park Question

When a call is parked and a user picks up that call, how long is it until that parked number is availbe for use again??

For example, A call is parked to 22. I dial 22 and talk to the person. Upon pick up of that call is 22 back in the available pool??

I thought it was immediate after the call was retrieved?

That is what I thought, but then why is the park number different when I test??? It is not a big deal, just curious more or less.

I am guessing you have a range of numbers for you call parking . The CCM will always start from the first not-yet-dialed number. If you have restarted your CCM, your first number will be the first one in the range (i.e. #1-9). After that it will go with the next unused one (#2) and so on.

That is correct. a Park number will not be re-used until CCM has run through all of the configured numbers.
