Call Pickup not Working

I have just read that call pickup does not work on call manager 4.0 Can anyone help with the revision required to allow this function to work properly

The call pickup feature is available in CCM 4.0. Please see the link below for the required configuration.

Thanks for your input, but at the top of the page of your link it mentions the bug issue that I am concerned about

Take a look at the following link. The "problem" only occurs if the DN is a member of a line group. As the link explains, this is actually the expected behavior. If you need a DN that is a member of a line group to also be a member of a pickup group, you can open a Product Enhancement Request (PER).

The phones are not members of a line group.

Then you should have no problem with the pickup feature in CCM 4.X
