Has anyone been able to find a way to enable call pickup notification on a non-primary line appearance? I know the docs say that the primary line is the only one that gets notified and has been that way since 4.x. But, by 7.x, I would think that there would be some check box to allow this. Here is the scenario:
2205 must be able to receive notification and be able to pickup calls that go to 2202, 2203, and 2204 individually or via a hunt pilot that does a broadcast ring to those 3 phones. If any of those 3 phones ring, then any of those 3 phones plus 2205 should get notification and be able to pick it up. But, if 2205 gets a call, then the other 3 phones must not get notification nor be able to pick up the call.
I think I could get this accomplished with multiple pickup groups, but the alerting is only done on the primary line and some of the phones are not in close proximity with each other which is why we need the notification on the phones.
