Call Redirect vs Place Call step

Hi,

I'm developing an application and I have some problems doing an external call.

From the IP Phone I call the application RP and then it asks me for a code and then for the number to call.

Now i need to place an external call but if I use the Call Redirect step the call everytime goes out from the "success" branch also if the call is busy or no answer.

If I use the Place Call step the call goes out from the right branch but the system doesn't connect me to te external call and viceversa.

What is the correct step to use or do I need to use particular step configurations?
