call transfer - cme vs cm

Hi,

Could you explain me how call manager transfer the call originating from offnet(pstn) phone to another offnet(pstn) phone? Just read the cme srnd and seems like cme support H.450 and CM does not.

To me, cme call xfer is easir to understand but still can't grasp cm concept.

Could you please explain me how they differ and xfer calls between them?

One note about CME.

When you transfer a call from PSTN to another PSTN, there is no H.450 involved. Everything happens with the IOS voice API that do not use any network protocol for their working.

I imagine it's similar for CM.
