Caller ID Display

Hello,

Currently I have a CM 3.3.3 server connected to a Nortel PBX via a 1760 router H323 PRI. I have no problems sending "Calling Number" digits across the PRI to the PBX handsets but the Caller Display will not work. Both the Caller ID and Caller Display work in the reverse when I use a nortel pbx phone and dial an IP phone DN. I did a "debug voip ccapi inout" and found that the 1760 is getting "display_info" populated with the correct info in both directions. Has anyone experienced this before.

Summary

- IP phone to IP phone Caller Display and Calling ID works

- IP phone to PBX phone through PRI Calling Number ID works but Caller Display does not

Re: Caller ID Display

This is normal and expected. The solution is if the switch supports QSIG then caller name and number works. We have one site with normal ISDN-Type Primary-ni and ISDN-Type Primary-QSIG. The Nortel PBX must be at 25.40 or higher with the QSIG feature set on the Option 61,81. Hope this helps
