I am trying to get the Caller ID recieved from an Analog line connected to a FXO-M1 port on a MRP-300 using 12.3.2xa to show up on an IP Phone that is registered to CallManager 3.3(3) running on the SPE in the same ICS 7750. We recieve the Caller ID on the MRP-300:

*Mar 3 18:45:28.647: [0/0] get_fxo_caller_id calling num=7815551212 calling nam

e=John, Doe calling time=08/25 13:49

On CallManager trace we recieve:

Cisco CallManagerE0063S: Size constraint violated, length of value = 0; check field 'namePresentationAllowedSimple' (type: NameData) of field 'namePresentationAllowed' (type: NamePresentationAllowed) of field 'name' (type: Name) of field 'argument' (type: NameArgument) of field 'callingNameInvoke' (type: CallingNameInvoke) of PDU #1 'CallingNameRose'.**

The phone line from the Telephone company has the Caller ID service and the MRP has the caller-id enable command and the default caller-id unblocked.

Not sure about the protocol you are using, however, CallerID is NOT supported from FXO using MGCP...

At this time, I have not heard of when it will work.

is inbound callerID supported with FXO if you are using h323?
