Does anyone know how to use the "ISDN MAP ADDRESS" commands to make local and LD calls with the requirement that locals calls include the EXTERNAL CALLING MASK" of the originating DN? This one is kicking me!
The isdn map address command is actually used to set the called/ing party's number type and plan according to the Q.931 specification. It's not used to alter the actual number sent.
If you want to make the CallManager send the external caller ID differently for each line, then I think from what you are describing the way you want to do it is with the External Phone Number Mask field on the line configuration of the phones.
In order for that to happen, you have to fill out that field on the line configurations of your phones, and on one or more route patterns in the CM - such as 9.@ - you have to check the box in the calling party transformations section to use this external calling party mask.
