caller id

We replaced our old incoming T1s with ISDN T1s that now provide ANI (caller id) over the "D" channel. The calling number is displayed on the telephone instruments and also appears in our call accounting programs Is it possible to have the calling number appear in the message subject line in e-mail generated by Unity? Will Unity announce the calling number where a client retrieves messages from a telephone instrument? We are currently running Unity V2.4.5 and upgrading soon.<br><br>

The calling number will be displayed in the message subject line if it's provided by the switch integration (not all integrations give this to us, but most do). No, Unity doesn't voice the caller ID over the phone. This is a requested feature and it's on the list for the product folks to consider. It'd be kinda nice to have the option to play it or not if it's there...
