I have a 3640 with 12.2(4)T1 software acting as an H.323 gateway to CallManager 3.1(2c) servers. We are receiving caller ID but no caller name. I have seen discussion about doing debugs to determine where in the ISDN setup message the telco would put the caller name. Does anybody have an example "q931" and "voip ccapi inout" debugs they could provide that show a working caller name display from telco? My circuit is a PRI with primary-ni switch type. The telco says they are already passing caller name but I cannot tell if the router is seeing it.
I also saw a post where somebody decoded the caller name from a hex string that was passed from the telco. Information on how to do that would also be appreciated.
