i have set up ther transform mask to show our main number to any external people we call. i do not see a way to send letters. It was requested that we send our company name along with our main number. is this possible?
If you are calling through the telco they should have your main number in its database and when they see your calling number provide your name. This is purely done by the telco. If you are in the U.S. even if you send a name the telco won't use it they will use what they have in there database. This reason I say U.S. is because I know for sure this is the case here. It is different depending on the county.
Presuming we are talking PRI, in the gateway, under the PRI voice-port interface, use 'station-id name'. The phone company usually hardcodes the name aspect though.
