CallingLineID vs. ANI

We use CCM 3.2(2)c and ICM via H.323 Gateway behind a HiCOM PBX

Our problem is that we see at the IP Phones the Calling Number, but in the ICM application it won´t.

We see that there are two parameters, a CallingLineID and a so called ANI-parameter.

By debugging in the application we see that the Calling Party Number is inserted in the ANI-Field.

Is there any possibilitiy to change this paramters within the callmanager or the H.323 gateway

thanks in advance

August

Re: CallingLineID vs. ANI

Could you please elaborate more on your question? I could not understand very well what change you were looking for. Actually, Calling line ID and ANI function similarly, that is, both are the calling pary number. The IP Phones have the Caller ID displayed, that is nothing but the calling pary number and ANI is also the same, which is used to display the calling pary number only. So, I dont think so, ANI can be changed to contain something other than this. Hope this answers your question to some extent.
