CallManager 3.0(7) upgrade options

Currently we are running 3.0.7 in our Bellevue office and need to move this box to our Boulder office; Therefore, what I need to find is as follows:

1. Hostname and IP address has to change (I know that u can't change the hostname), so what would be my options ?

2. Do I need to build this system from scratch ?

3. I want to upgrade to 3.1.4b(161)

4. Any other considerations ?

In response to your points.

1. Yep, hostname can't change so you will have to rebuild the box

2. See point 1

3. Skip it, if you are going to rebuild the box anyway go to 3.3(2/3) and save yourself the headache later.

4. Not if you go to 3.3

By moving to 3.3 you can save yourself an awful lot of hassle by sending out a data collection spreadsheet to the office anyway using the BAT tool, then simply import all the info into user device profiles. The when you get to site with the box rebuild it, install EM, BAT on the user info and away you go. Even if the users don't want to use EM, get them to log on once and never log off.

You'll save yourself days of work (depending on system size).
