Hello. I honing my h323 skills here in prep for the voice lab. Anyway, I have a network with Core and Remote 2651xm routers (back to back t1 via WIC-1DSU cards) and a 2621 as a gatekeeper at each site. CCM is at the "core" site. Can someone post a config for the gatekeeper, and POTS 2651xm routers as well as discuss the necessary configs in CCM administration. I believe you gotta configure a "Gatekeeper", then a trunk, then route pattern pointing to that trunk, correct?
Anyway, I am plowing through this and just thought someone may be an expert at this already. Thanks in advance for the assistance.
Does your remote site fall within the CallManager cluster at Core site. If so, you cannot use Gatekeepeer in this scenario. For CAC, you have to use locations. If the remote site is a separate CCM cluster by itself, or is using CallManager Express, then you can proceed with the config I am posting. Here my remote site has CCME, and Core site has publisher and subscriber.
