Recently, during a CM 4.1 to 5.0(4)a upgrade (test environment), I ran into a SFTP/FTP transfer issue during the importing of the DMA (.tar) file portion. An error indicated "file retrieval failed due to unknown error". This portion of the upgrade does not work all the time and I get this error. I spoke to TAC and found out that this issue was related to a bug. The workaround was to use sftp, but that did not work each time either.
Just to make sure it wasn't the obvious errors, I verified connectivity to the sftp/ftp server to and from the callmanager box and made sure sftp/ftp was working by testing with other clients. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks
