I have a customer who has 3 sites, one Headend site and 2 remotes. We are looking to deploy a Centralized CallManager at the HE with CUE. I was wondering if this would work with CUE or do we need to have CUE at the remotes also.

That will work fine, as long as you have trancoders available at HQ to convert the g729 calls from remotes to g711 before sending it to voicemail. Of course during SRST you can set up the remote router to dial back out the PRI (preferred) and reach voicemail via the PSTN. You can set up to one alternate extension for each subscriber.

Forgot to mention that NM-CUE-EC is the largest form factor of CUE which support 16 ports. NM-CUE supports 8 and AIm-CUE supports 6 ports.
Depending upon the number of users you have + any auto attendants you setup, you may run of ports pretty fast if you setup 3 remotes sites and a head office on one NM-CUE-EC. Thats they time when you want to think about using Unity Connection or Unity.
