CallManager and Gigastack technology

I understand from the QoS design guide that a Catalyst 3500 series GigaStack configuration cannot provide guaranteed voice QoS because it is essentially a shared media access model (notwithstanding the SW Config Guide for the 3524XL, which shows the GigaStacks being used with CallManager and IP phones). The Catalyst 3750, however, support a new Cisco StackWise technology. Are there any formal Cisco recommendations regarding the use of CallManager and IP phones with stacked 3750s?

I personally would not use something like this until it has been mentioned as approved in the QoS SRND:
