CallManager Cluster Locations

Hi,

does anybody can help me?

I have a CallManager cluster (three CallManager ver. 3.1(4b)) with two locations, it seems that some time the aviable bandwith is NOT released after call completion, so the location's aviable bandwith becomes slowly zero (users see the message: No bandwith aviable)

Problem workaround: CallManager reboot!

Re: CallManager Cluster Locations

Hi,

Probably you are hitting bug CSCdy17859

Release Notes

Symtom:

Customer claims that they are getting out of bandwidth indications on their

phones when in fact no one is using them.

Condition:

CallManager 3.1(3a)spF with several locations. Here is one scenario in which

bandwidth will be reserved but not released...

Phone A --- Location 0

Phone B --- Location 0

Phone C --- Location 1 (shared line with phone B)

A calls B.

C answers the call in Location 1 (bandwidth is reserved) and places the call

on hold. We have entry in table.

B resumes the call on the shared line in Location 0. Since A and B are both

in Location 0 the bandwidth is released but the entry remains in the table.

When the call ends, everything is torn down but the entry is still left in the

table. If this happens enough times, the table will become full and will not

be able to store any more bandwidth entries. This will cause users to

incorrectly receive errors that there is not enough bandwidth.

Workaround: None

Status Resolved

First Found-in Version 3.1(3a)

First Fixed-in Version 3.1(3)ES39, 3.1(4)ES05, 3.3(0.244) Version help
