CallManager connecting to Avaya Definity G3r

Hi @ all,

my situation: I have a avaya G3r connecting to a 3640 Voice Gateway via a pri. I am running CM 3.2(2c). When an IP phone calls a phone hanging off the avaya the caller ID shows the persons name. When an Avaya phone calls an ip phone the ip phone just shows the extension not the name.

I have done a q931 trace on the gw, the avaya sent the caller name. But the ip phone shows only the extension.

Any Idea's

Definately good to go through the PDF, also verify you have "Display IE Delivery" checked in your CallManager PRI configuration. This is if you are configured for 4ess or 5ess. If you are configured for NI, you should set yourself up as the Network side cuz NI doesn't support sending Name from user to Network. Lastly, if you are using QSIG, you will need to check the box that says Send Caller Name in Facility IE in your CM PRI setup.
