CallManager express 3.1, IOS 12.3(7) T
AutoAttendant TCL script 2.0.1.0
Problem:
Outside caller from PSTN does not hear
progress ring when AA transfers to Operator or
Local Number. The call is completed though when operator or local picks up the call.
Does anybody have solution.

You might want to try this to see if it resolves your issue. I do not know if you tried it or not.

Brian,
Tried that but does not seem to work.
I dont think problem is with the gateway not
sending Ring back tone. I disabled AA on the router
and placed "plars" on the voice ports, PSTN users
can hear ring back on this config. I can also
remember this AA to work with a IOS ver 12.2(4)T it
only broke on 12.2(7)T.
I was trying to look for cme-aa-2.0.2.0.tar, this
was version of AA suppose to be for CME 3.1 but software center does not have it. So I settled with
cme-aa-2.0.1.0.tar which apparently does not work,

I have 12.2(15)ZJ3 and running IP/FW/IDS PLUS IPSEC 3DES and you do not hear anything at all, it just kicks you out to the default destination that I have configured, our main HQ#.
So far I have no work around so I had to switch to usingthe AA inside CUE.

CUE is a better way to go for AA. With Rel 1.1, we now also have the scripting tool to allow folks to create their own AA call flows. In addition, the AIM form factor also just got released. Sarat

Is the scripting tool on the software download page so that I can download it? or do I have to purchase IPCC Express CRA application to recieve it?
Thanks!

I found it and have it installed already.
Thanks!

Hi.
Yes, I came out that problem in several IOS releases. Since the TCL script uses handoff to the dafault application. I don´t know the way to tell the default application to give a ringback tone.
I use a "workaround" modifying the TCL script and playing a call tone (it is no ringback, but the caller hear a sort of private tone). You should include the tone before handingoff the call:
set dest $oprtr
playtone leg_incoming tn_addrack
handoff callappl leg_incoming default "DESTINATION=$dest"
Is there an IOS way to activate the line tones in default app?
Before the script used directly:
"leg setup $dest callInfo leg_incoming"
so the control remained in the main script and the tone was given.
Miguel.

Hello Miguel,
This is good workaround. I tried it and it works.
