Hello,
I have a receptionists phone with monitor lines configured. Since I upgraded to cme3.3, when the phone goes off hook, all the monitor lines goes off hook as well.
As a result the receptionists cannot push the monitor line to contact a person. The phone has to be on hook to do this.
Is this a bug or misconfiguration issue. I have the transfer-system full-consult dss command under telephony service.
Thanks

You can monitor ephone-dns, which means you can monitor phone extensions or park slots.
You may be able to monitor ephone-dns that were trunked to FXO ports, but this would only be valid if
a) there was a 1-to-1 mapping between your FXO ports and IP phones and
b) only outbound calls from IP phones would be monitored.

Hi P,
We initially installed CME 3.3 and had it working fine with monitor lines set up for the receptionist (7960 + 2x 7914).
When we installed it it didn't work right until we upgraded the firmware on the phone and extension modules, I would suggest doing that first if you haven't done so already.
Let us know how you go, if you don't have any luck then we could compare configurations.
We've since upgraded CME to version 4 but the configs haven't changed a lot.
Cheers,
John
