Callmanager Hanging

Folks,

I just built a callmanager cluster with 1 pub and 1 sub. I am running 4.1(3)SR3.

When i try to run the voicemail port wizard it hangs at Validating....

Also some menus are very slow to load.

DLLHost.exe is taking a lot of memory.

The CD's for callmanager were downloaded from my ftp server as i fotgot not get them with me on site.

Any thoughts?

Re: Callmanager Hanging

dllhost.exe is a rather memory hungry process. this is probably normal.

what version of MCS? how much memory in server? what version win-OS-upgrade-K9??

how much disk space free/used on C: and any DB drives?

Re: Callmanager Hanging

Hello,

I'm facing the same problem without the VM wizard thing :)

I regularly have CPU peaks and DLLHOST.EXE is always consuming the biggest part of the CPU at that time.

To answer your question

We are talking about the publisher which is a MCS-7800 with 1Gb of RAM but 1,6 GB is used (paged memory included)

I will reboot the CCM this evening,maybe we are dealing with a memory leak.

Re: Callmanager Hanging

Are you sure that you have SR3? There is a bug for SR3a about the VM port wizard hanging at Validating --> CSCsd59949

Workaround:

Replace the "newnumplaninfo.asp" file with one from 4.1(3) server.

C:\ciscowebs\Admin\wizards\voicemailports

newnumplaninfo.asp diffs between 4.1(3) system that works on 4.1(3)sr3a system that fails.

======================================

4.1(3) - works fine

function goNext()

{

if (flgValidateDNRangeInProcess)

flgUpdateDirectoryNumberWaiting = true;

return;

}

uOneWizard.submit();

}

function initPage()

====

4.1(3)sr3a - failure

function goNext()

{

if (flgValidateDNRangeInProcess)

{

flgUpdateDirectoryNumberWaiting = true;

}

else if (validate(document.uOneWizard))

{

uOneWizard.submit();

}

}

function initPage()
