After hardware detection CallManager disk is inserted, CallManager shows the first installation windows for ever.
Somebody knows why?

Hi,
If you are using Call Manager 3.3, then Disk 3 for the MCS7825/35 or Compaq DL320/380 is a DVD. If you only have a CD Drive in your server, it will always sit at the "Enter OS Disk 3" Screen forever.

Is the first window, there is no user input.
The windows says:
"Cisco Avvid
Architecture for voice, data, etc."

Hi Alex,
If you have a DL320G2/MCS7825H (2.26Ghz) or DL380G3/MCS7835H, then use need the Hardware Detection disk/OS Disks version 2000.2.4 Earlier CM 3.3(2) Upgrade sets came with 2000.2.3 OS/Harware detection disks. I had this problem with a DL320G2 and 2000.2.3 Disks with the server just hanging at the splash screen. 2.4 Disks work fine.

HI,
So in case a customer just has a set of 2000.2.3 cd's he has to buy another callmanager set of cisco in order to get the 2000.2.4 cd's ?
Is there really no other way ? Any BIOS upgrade or anyhthing ?

Xavier

Make sure you have the server's ethernet plugged into a switch, hub or router and that you have link integrity. The CCM software will not load if not connected to the network.

Are you doing a fresh installation or recovery?
Also please let us know the call manager version that you are using.

Seetharaman.
