For monitoring the CallManager I am receiveing CCM traps, monitoring SQLServer, IIS, tftp, and check for CCM event log entries (very noisy), but I am interested in things like calls dropped, etc, which I can't seem to get via the event log or traps. I was looking in the \prog files\cisco\TRACE directory at the various flat file logs. Can anyone recommend any of these files as worthy of monitoring ? Or else recommend alternative monitoring strategies for the CCM ?
Thanks

Well after looking around and guessing that the web 'realtime monitor' probably used perf counters, I found the vast trove of perf counters. Now I have to decipher them. If anyone still has suggestions regarding logs let me know.
Thanks

Have you considered using MRTG? I am using it to monitor quite a few MIB's on the CCM and voice gateways (MGCP and H323).
