b. I usually recommend my customers have a scheduled reboot once or once in two months, which will help clear any problems with service lockups. This can be done during your maintenance windows (if you have one every month)
c. Definitely make sure automatic updates (windows) are set to off on callmanager.
d. You may use RTMT or PerfMon to monitor the server for various things like heartbeat, number of calls etc. This is totally optional.
e. A periodic scan of the Event viewer for app errors is a good thought.
