CallManager service fails to start after running Windows Update

My client ran Windows Update on the CCM server v3.3(5)sr1, and now, the CallManager service wouldn't start on its own. You have to go to Services and start the service manually, even though it is set to automatic.

The following are the logs on Event Viewer for every restart:

The Cisco CallManager service failed to start due to the following error:

The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for the Cisco CallManager service to connect.

You must never run windows update on ccm server. If you can uninstall the Hotfixes or service packs that have been placed on the server that would probably fix the issue.

You should always use Cisco's version of updates unless explicity informed to download a specific fix from Microsoft.

I know. I never run Windows Update on a MCS. But the new guy, errr... thought he knew better. Anyway, I'll try backtracking and see if I can still recover the old setup by removing the most recent updates.
