callmanager simulator

I know that there is a callmanager simulator that you can install on your pc, so it is easy to develop xml applications to the phones. Does any have a link to the cm sim?

Re: callmanager simulator

You could try the phone services emulator from the Hot Dispatch website:

http://www.hotdispatch.com/cisco-ip-telephony/iptel-resources.html

The "Developing Cisco IP Phone Services" book has the CallManager simulator on the CD:

http://www.ciscopress.com/catalog/product.asp?st={776089B9-ABD8-4EBD-9743-736023A61FDC}&session_id={C5F6467A-6F1D-4A7B-8B94-BE7A8194B288}&product_id={C44DC455-B95D-421D-BF88-16C4A61CC6C9}

I am not aware of a seperate download for the CM Sim.

If you just have the IP Phone, it's possible to run services on that phone without the CallManager, though the setup is a bit convoluted. Try either of the above solutions first.

Heheh, sometimes the solutions are closer (and easier) than we think. Now that you mention it I do recall seeing it there.

Thanks for pointing that out, and letting everyone know where it is!
