i have been considering this. we have a customer opportunity that needs something similar, and i am considering using AXL to change the call manager configuration based on time of day. the mechanics of it aren't too hard. using java on a linux platform to reconfigure calling search spaces at a given time.
however, not sure about what will happen to calls from affected users that are in place at the time of transition. they will probably be unaffected - not sure if this is desirable.
